Man City sent a transfers warning by Juventus manager
Juventus manager Thiago Motta warned Manchester City that Left Beka Andrea Cambiaso was not interested in moving to Etihad’s stadium last month.
After the departure of Kyle Walker at AC Milan, City enhanced their search for replacement and set his sights on the versatile Cambiaso, which is a natural left -back, but is equally comfortable on the right side of the defense.
It was reported that an offer of EUR 65 million (£ 54.4 million) arrived But ultimately brought to nothing, though City Summer is expected to look for their search for a 24-year-old again.
Cracked in the future Cambiaso, Motta insisted that he only had eyes for Juventus per minute.
“I’m happy to stay with a great team like Juventus,” Motta said. “I think he always had the idea of staying.”
City spent Big on his defense in January, signing Abdukodir Khusanov and Vitor Reis for just over £ 60m, while striker Omar Marmoush and midfielder Nico Gonzalez also joined City’s consumption at close to £ 180 million.
The full back is expected to be their next area of reinforcement, but Juventus is ready to stand firmly over Cambiaso, whose contract in Turin lasts until 2029.
