Thousands of people gathered in the crowd to hear from the leader of the M23 rebels, a group behind the conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Corneille Nanga called a minute’s silence for the victims of his fighter taking over the city, before warning more unrest and promised to expel the Government.
