Georgia Roche returned to the English Detachment for Australia Jillaros Clash in Las Vegas | Rugby league news
The English women’s team appointed its detachment to take over the World Champions in Australia Jillaros in Las Vegas on March 1.
Georgia Roche, Grand Final winner NRLW 2023, will be associated with the English team for the first time in more than 12 months after another impressive season, and Newcastle Knights scored two attempts in 10 appearances.
The 24-year-old half and former steel woman will join the teams on Friday when they meet in Weetwood for their last camp before they headed to Nevada on February 25th.
Canberra Raiders second-row Hollie-Mae Dodd was named after trying to return against Wales in the autumn international with selected and Paige Travis.
Tamzin Renouf is one of the five players from York Valkyrie invited after he returned from his knee injury last season with his teammate Jas Bell in a quarrel to make his debut on international debut.
18-year-old Jenna Foubister is another player who has been named and will represent Wigan Warriors along with Anna Davies.
The team also includes seven players from St. Helens, and the three of those who represented England during their last match against Jillaroos 2017 – Jodie Cunningham, Amy Hardcastle and Shona Hoyle.
The main coach of England, Stuart Barrow, said: “Every player in this traveling team plays an important role when we face Australian Jillarosos in three weeks.
“It was a really difficult selection process because there is a lot of talent within the group, which means that there are some very good players who will unfortunately miss.
“Now we have to focus on the challenge that is ahead, which is a historic blend against the world champions for the first time since 2017 and I am very much looking forward to gathering the group for our last camp next weekend.”
