Carolina was 2-14 in 2010, which leaned the team with the total number 1 choice. Newton entered and eventually helped improve the team winners. They made a Super Bowl 50 – just to lose to Denver Broncos. Smith left Tim after the 2013 season.
Newton’s “loser” remark came during Podcast interview “overtime” When asked what types of pressures the winner Heisman Trophy Travis Hunter may face after entering the league.
“You could be the first choice, but, brother, you don’t have a way to influence the game like the striker does,” Newton said. “You can lock the receiver number 1. You can make impact plays on insult everything you want, but it’s still not like an attacker. My problem is that when I was the first choice, I entered the loser locker room. Just honestly.
“The guys did not know how to win; the guys did not know how to prepare. They did not take seriously that we realized that it was 2-14. It was a lot of 2-14 in the mentality of these guys.”

“53 Men’s locker rooms – 1 = 52 losers. Wow … breaking news to 89,” he wrote in the initial post on X.
“I watched and listened to the time in @cameronnewton talk about @panthers! None of us is perfect. Yes, we were 2-14 before you blessed us in ur presence. The way you talked about @panthers lately ‘I’m very disappointed.
One fan pointed out that Smith had been critical of pantheses in the past.
“I never gave up my words,” he said in the answer. “However, calling men in the locker room for the losers is not slander, it is a disrespect!
Reports in the past are far from what the Panthers organization should be heard from its most famous alumni.
