Detroit’s mom accused of killing a son, burying the body in the yard last fall


The woman accused of killing her nine -year -old son and burial of his body in her backyard in Detroit was accused of murder, the prosecutor said on Wednesday.

The shallow tomb holding the remains of King’s land was discovered on January 6, while the owner was preparing a house for new tenants.

Details were not published at the time, although the Detroit police admitted that the investigation was ongoing.

Zemar suffocated to his death on October 24, two weeks before his 41-year-old mother went to Georgia with his three-year-old son, said Wayne Kym County Prosecutor.

“I have been a prosecutor for a long time and I often say that I have seen it all. The horror of this case of abuse of children defies it,” Worthy said.

The mother was arrested on January 10th in a disabled case in Cobb County in Georgia, according to online records. He waited for Michigan’s extradition for accusation of murder and other crimes.

“This case is quite shocking,” said Todd Bettison, a temporary head of the Detroit police.
