America, where is your anger?

More than 16 months have passed since the Hamas, a group that the US ministry officially determined more than 1,400 victims killed, raped, tortured and abducted, a group officially determined by the US Ministry of the State as a terrorist entity.

Thirty -nine countries, nothing more than Israel, it felt that the agony of their innocent citizens became a victim Hamas Massacre 7. October 2023. On that day, Hamas performed one of the strongest terrorist attacks globally from September 11, 2001. America did not escape from the pristine; Dozens of American families were forever broken on the day when they experienced a heart notice of death or news that their loved one had abducted terrorists. On that regret Saturday, 2023, 45 Americans were killed and 12 Americans were abducted.

As an active FBI agent, stationed in Israel from 2020 to 2024, I testified firsthand that the tragedy of October 7th influenced US families. The US law denotes the FBI as the main agency for investigating Americans killed or injured in a terrorist attack anywhere in the world, and the Directive for Presidential Policy denotes the FBI as a leading investigation agency dealing with abducted Americans anywhere in the world.

My responsibility, from October 2023 to the end of my tour in mid -2024, has completely focused on the hostage crisis. In this endeavor, my American colleagues and I worked with our Israeli colleagues to collect intelligence information about missing victims, seeking justice against the perpetrator of Hamas and providing comfort and answers to the victims’ families. We worked tirelessly on behalf of the victims of all nationalities, but our special responsibility was an American nationals. My colleagues are still working tirelessly at this mission to this day.

Since returning to the state, I have been shocked that most Americans have not understood the scope of the suffering of our own citizens and continue to withstand in the hands of the Hamas. Few people realize in this country that of the 12 Americans who had taken hostages, four were killed on October 7, but their bodies were taken hostage anyway – and these bodies are yet to be returned to their families for proper burial. Although he was in a news cycle in a short period, several fellow citizens realize that the 23-year-old American, who was abducted on October 7, shortly after his hand was blowing with a grenade, brutally killed six months ago in a gauze tunnel with five innocent victims.

The average American does not remember that the two US hostages were published in late October 2023 or that two more women (including a child) were published in November 2023. And despite the fact that happened this February, it is relatively a little general consciousness that two American men were published in the last “hostage agreement”. Americans need to understand that there are dozens of innocent hostages, many of whom have passed away, who remain in Hamas captive in Gaza. One of these hostages is an American, and he is believed to be alive.

It is surprising that the average American does not know about the large number of American victims of Hamas on October 7th, but it is less surprising that the average American does not understand Hamas, who has a charter calling for the destruction of the country and the people, has the presence in the United States for decades. Internal Hamas documents and eavesdropping of the FBI, introduced as evidence in various federal criminal cases, show the existence of a Hamas network throughout the country involved in funds collection, lobbying, education and propaganda expansion from the 1980s.

Currently, PRO-HAMA’s student and college organization On the US campuses throughout the country, they maintain protests by waving Hamas’s flags, expressing their support for Hamas and singing for Palestinian liberation from “Rijeka to the Sea”. This singing is not a peaceful call to release, but is advocated to destroy Israel and is taken directly from Hamas. These student and colleges protesters, sometimes violently, repeat the mantra of Hamas and the basis spit in the face of our American victims. The Americans have suffered and continued to suffer from Hamas, but we tolerate the agenda of those in our country that support these abusers. What happens next? Will we start tolerate open anti-Semitic public figures in the US who claim that the Nazis who love Hitler?

Freedom of speech in America gives online influences the right to anti -Semitic. It also gives protesters to protests at the college campuses the right to extinguish the memory of the victims on October 7th on behalf of the perceived injustice. But human decency should prevail in this country.

In order for human decency to overcome, America must supervisten to understand that innocent American lives are forever broken down by terrifying terrorist acts Hamas committed on October 7th. One thing is to protest peacefully with politics that he does not agree with, but something is completely different to celebrate the suffering of innocent victims of terror.

Don’t forget the 45 Americans killed by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Don’t forget American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was killed six months ago in Gaza tunnels. Remember that we have the bodies of four late Americans – Itay Chen, Omer Neutra, Gad Haggai and Judi Weinstein – still holding on to Hamas’s captivity in Gaza. And of emergency importance, remember that we have one American who is believed to be alive – Edan Alexander – still Hamas in Gaza still holds them in terrible conditions. Now we need each of the innocent hostages, including our Americans. America, I ask you again, where is your anger?
