After Trump’s comments on Gaza, why did some media be afraid to use an expression of ethnic cleansing?

US President Donald Trump’s plan to take control of Gaza’s belt and cleared Palestinians, he pulled an international conviction. Western and Arab governments, a group of united nations and human rights quickly said it was equal to ethnic cleansing. But many media in the United States -in France did not establish the same relationship. Why? Was it a bad taste, bad judgment or something else?
