The Frenchman appealed to two thieves who used his stolen credit card to buy a jackpot scratch card, promising to share with them a prize of 500,000 euros (£ 413,664).
Presenting himself as Jean-David E, the man told RTL radio yes, since the money would otherwise take away the authorities, he wants to conclude a contract with thieves.
“Without me, they wouldn’t win, but without them I wouldn’t buy this ticket. I want to offer them to share the winnings,” said the Toulouse resident.
No one has so far appeared with the winning map, blocked by Française des Jeux (FDJ), an operator of a French national lottery, Jean-David reports.
Jean-David revealed that on February 3, his backpack was stolen on February 3, which contains a wallet from a car parked in the central Toulouse.

“Unless I turn to my lawyer, the ticket is unusable. So why not agree and make fifty-fifty or fifty?”
“For that amount of money, I am ready to reach the agreement,” he added, explaining that he would use his share of profits – € 250,000 (£ 206,988) – to help pay the mortgage.
FDJ and Toulouse police approached the comment.
