JD Vance swears in Howard Luttles as the secretary of the trade Donald Trump in the White House

Vice -President JD Vance sworn to the Howard portion as his secretary for a trade in the White House on Friday.
During the oath ceremony, President Donald Trump said that the priorities of the loungers in the role would focus on the growth of jobs, claiming that Lutnick “really understands something about the job.” In addition, Trump signaled that he would soon impose reciprocal tariffs.
Lutnick expressed support for Trump’s tariff suggestionsAnd he said during his hearing for confirmation before the Senate Committee on Trade, Science and Transport in January that now “I can use tariffs to create reciprocity.”
Trump’s administration has ordered federal agencies to explore the imposition of reciprocal tariffs to correct any tariff imbalances that exist between the countries selling US products. Lutnick said on February 13th that the report on the issue would be ready by April 1.
In addition, Lutnick, former chairman and executive director of the investment company Cantor Fitzgerald, vowed to sell all his business interests after confirmation to avoid conflicts of interest.
“My plan is to serve only the American people,” Lutnick told MPs in January. “So I will take away, which means that I will sell all my interests, all my business interests, all my property, everything.”
The Senate was confirmed on Tuesday by Lutnick for Marz 51-45.
