‘A good result but not a good performance’
Manchester United chief Ruben Amorim once again criticized his players even though he went into the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Red Devils scored a leicster thanks to the last winner of Harry Maguire, but it was not without controversy.
Leicester’s former central back nodded home in the last seconds, but he was in a clear offside position.
But without a variety of use during the early rounds, the goal stood with the line of the line of somehow missing four United players stood in an offside position.
Amorim will take advantage of the victory, but admits that it was not a great appearance at Old Trafford-unusual topic of his interviews after the match this season.
He said, “We had to believe the end, but this game has nothing to do with Fergie’s time. I think the performance, we have to do a lot better with the ball, without the ball.
“We didn’t have any energy at first, especially in the first half. Then in the second half we played a little better, with a little higher speed, winning other balls. Then we managed to turn things out, so it was a good result, not a good performance.
🗣️ “We are not defeated in Fergie Time. We have been defeated in the offside time. “

“The coach is first responsible, when one team does not perform, it does not improve, it is a coach, but we are here to do things and see the game, study the game and try to improve the next game.
“I think these are small things, if you see games sometimes to control the ball, to have the ball, don’t give the ball in the first pressure. These are small things, these are big things, it’s all.
“It’s a moment, it’s hard, but especially at home, but we have to deal with it and we will try to do it the next game.”
Leicester chief Ruud Van Nisklroooy was confused by a decision and joked that his time had lost in “time in the offside”.
He said: “We are not defeated in Fergie time, we have been defeated in a time of offset.
“This was not necessary. Var you have a few inches, a few inches, this was half a meter, purely okay. It was hard to take because the team eventually deserves to draw. Then extra time, stay in the game, never know what happens.
“It was a very good team effect, it started really good, pressing United. On the ball very stable. Deservedly go 1-0 up at halftime. Of course, in the second half we know that some pressure will put on us and some chances, but not so much.
“We deserved to go in at extra time, go to the battle in additional time and maybe penalties.
“Decisions like these on our level are hard to swallow.”
