Early in his career, Wilson had a lot of success in the playoffs. He led the Seattle Seahawks to two Super Bowl appearances and five straight postseason berths from 2012-2016, during which the team won its first championship in 2013.

However, the 36-year-old guard is 1-3 in his last four postseason games, with his most recent victory coming against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in the 2019 playoffs.

In his first regular season with Pittsburgh SteelersWilson finished with a 6-5 record. Now they will look to improve their postseason record and also win a playoff game for the first time since 2019.

If the Steelers want to end their postseason stumbles, Russell Wilson needs to be at the top of his game. Since 2011, head coach Mike Tomlin has seen his team’s painful losses pile up into a 3-8 postseason record after starting his career with a 5-2 postseason record and two trips to the Super Bowl.

The team’s last postseason win came against the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016. Since then, they have lost five straight in the postseason.
