In meeting with a low score during International League T20 (ILT20) 2025Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir he brought a touch of cinema to the cricket field with his celebration after his dismissal Rohan Mustafa Sharjah Warriors. The match, held on Wednesday (January 22) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, showcased Amir’s exceptional bowling skills and his ability to entertain fans on and off the field.

Amir’s memorable moment came during the third over of the Sharjah Warriors innings when he hit a full length ball that was shaping towards the pads. Mustafa tried to leg the ball but ended up with a front edge which he caught easily Sam Curran in the middle. After the dismissal, Amir celebrated in style by performing the iconic ‘Jhukega Nahi’ step from the hit film ‘Pushpa’ starring Allu Arjun, which has become a popular cultural reference of late.
This celebration not only thrilled the fans in attendance, but quickly went viral on social media, with many sharing clips of Amir’s performance.

Desert Vipers thrashed Sharjah Warriorz by 10 wickets
Desert Vipers registered a dominant 10-wicket victory over Sharjah Warriors in Wednesday’s match. Opting to bowl first, the Vipers bowlers put in a clinical display, restricting the Warriors to a paltry 91 in 19.1 overs. Amir played with the ball, taking 4/24, while Wanindu Hasaranga truncated by 3/10. Jason Roy‘s 30 not out off 34 was the only significant contribution for the Warriors.
In reply, Vipers chased down the target in just 10 overs without losing a wicket. Fakhar Zaman he led the charge with an incredible 71 not out off 39 balls, smashing 7 fours and 4 sixes. Alex Hales provided constant support with an unbeaten 23 from 21.
With this convincing win, the Vipers showed their all-around dominance. Amir’s stellar spell earned him the man of the match award.
