Travis Kelce hits back at claims Chiefs lost on purpose to hurt Bengals: ‘I’m not afraid to fuck anybody’

Travis Kelce wants to clarify: The Kansas City Chiefs did not lose to the Denver Broncos on purpose to keep the Cincinnati Bengals out of the playoffs.

After Bengalis beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, they needed to lose both the Miami Dolphins and the Broncos to make the playoffs.

The New York Jets ended up beating the Dolphins, but the Broncos demolished the Chiefs, winning 38-0 and eliminating the Bengals from the playoffs.

Chiefs they rested many of their starters in the loss, including Patrick Mahomes and Kelce, as they had already clinched the AFC’s top seed.

Jason Kelce told Travis that people claimed the Chiefs lost to the Broncos on purpose to keep the Bengals from making the playoffs during a recent episode “New heights.”

The star tight end for the Chiefs strongly denied that the team lost on purpose.

“I’m not afraid to screw anybody. I wanted them (Bengals) in the fucking playoffs. I want to kill every dragon one by one, like Mortal Kombat. I don’t even want this to be like, we’re playing the lowest seed, just give me the best teams,” Travis said.

“AFC, NFC, give me all of them, Mortal Kombat style. I’ll go through every freaking one of them just giving it my all. I’m not afraid of a soul man.”

Jason encouraged his brother further, saying that people were saying the Chiefs didn’t want to play at “Burrowhead,” which is Bengals fans’ nickname for the Chiefs’ home field, GEHA Field at Arrowhead or Cincinnati Stadium.

“I’m going to play them in the Walmart parking lot. I’m sick of…, we can have our own offseason game where we really fight again,” Travis replied. “Listen, I love competing against the biggest. The Bengals were a fun f*cking team to watch over there towards the end of the season, and it’s a shame they didn’t make the playoffs because they would have made the playoffs a lot f*cking crazier and a lot more fun.”

After missing the playoffs, the Bengals fired defensive coordinator Lou Anarum, a move Travis didn’t understand.

“I don’t know what the hell is going on there. It was a wild, wild move that I didn’t see coming because I thought, you know, from the outside, their defense is playing really f—ing good toward the end of the year,” Kelce said.

“I’ve always respected the hell out of him, I’ve also respected a lot of players on that side of the ball with who they’ve had this year.”

Kelce said he thinks the Bengals are “10 times better than what their record has shown,” then doubled down on the Chiefs not throwing their game against Denver.

“We weren’t fucking throwing a game, all right. Guys were competing in their a– offs, trying to get the win. Unfortunately, we couldn’t put the plays together. We couldn’t stop Denver, and it just wasn’t a fun game to be a part of, and I’m just sitting here on the sidelines like, ‘Hey guys, don’t let this s— ruin our f—ing mojo.’ When we all get going and when it’s time to go, we have to flip that switch and know that we’re the biggest, baddest team in the world,” Kelce said.

Broncos they will travel to face the No. 2 seed Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round, while Kelce’s Chiefs will sit back and watch the opening round of the playoffs at home because they earned a first-round bye.

As for the Bengals, they now need a new defensive coordinator and have big questions surrounding their star receivers. Tee Higgins is a free agent soon, and Ja’Marr Chase is due for a lucrative contract extension.
