AI benefits should not be limited to ultra -rich ‘oligarche’, says Trudeau – National

Trudeau also used his speech to insert Canada as a place for AI investments, praising Canadian ai pioneers like Yoshua Bengio, Geoffrey Hinton and Richard Sutton.
He said that Canada also has “critical minerals needed to build this technological revolution, specialized semiconductor expertise and one of the purest electricity networks in the world.”
“And yes, we are reasonable and always decent,” he added to the audience.
