‘Tip of the spear’: Trump steps up unscripted media attack after years of reclusive Biden dodging questions
President Donald Trump he is quick to make himself accessible to reporters within days of returning to the White House, a stark contrast to his Democratic predecessor who often dodged questions and took written questions from reporters.
“We’re going to answer a few questions,” the president said Tuesday, after announcing what was said to be a half-trillion-dollar investment by top tech companies to vastly expand the nation’s artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Trump then spent half an hour answering questions from journalists gathered in The white house.
It was the second day in a row that the new president held an informal, off-the-record and relaxed press conference with the press.

FOX EXCLUSIVE: TRUMP SHARES LETTER BIDEN LEFT HIM
“The president is a spearhead and he’s been active in wanting to come out and communicate his successes and the challenges that we have, and he’s been active in wanting us to address them,” White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications Taylor said. Budowich told Fox News.
The approachability with the press shows Trump’s unscripted nature and is in stark contrast to former president Joe Biden, whose interactions with journalists were more limited and sometimes strictly stage-managed.
TRUMP’S AVALANCHE OF EXECUTIVE ORDERS
“Has Biden ever held press conferences like this?” – asked Trump on Monday, while it seemed that he was going to attack the former president.
Trump is known for his extended interactions with the press. He held two uninhibited press conferences at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, during his return to the presidency.
And while for years he accuses journalists of being “fake news” and “enemies of the people”, and while his answers to their questions keep fact-checkers occupied, his exchange with the media is often free, without any assistants in choosing journalists to ask questions.

Budowich says Trump’s approachability and quirky style are contributing factors to his political success.
“The reason we won this election is Donald Trump. The reason we’re going to be able to carry out his agenda is Donald Trump,” he asserted.
And he said that Trump “achieved in the first two and a half days what most presidents fail to achieve in their first two years.”
