Technology mogul doubts Deepsek, says US media fell to “CCP propaganda”

Luckey admitted that Deepseek had achieved impressive steps and innovations in AI, but warned that he was buying too much into what the company reports.
“I don’t think people should take what they say in nominal value and they should realize that a lot of people cheer that the United States fails,” he said. “There are people who obviously cheer our technological companies fail and, obviously, President Trump to fail. Too bad there are so many of them in the United States.

“There is a reason why they announced the news in this way, and if the stock market is any indicator, this is exactly what they hoped,” Luckey added. “So look, we can recognize that Chinese Ai is a real competitive threat without losing mind over it and a fall for CCP [Chinese Communist Party] propaganda.”
