Ricki Lake Says Celebrity Psychic ‘Called’ California Fires That Destroyed Her Home Months Ago
Lake Rickiwhose precious Malibu home burned to the ground last week amid the Palisades Fire, shared on social media that she spoke with celebrity medium Tyler Henry three months ago, who claimed the Lake-related home would be ravaged by fire and water.
“I’m trying to articulate it without sounding alarmist,” Henry began, referring to the fire incident in an episode of his series, “Live from the other side” on Netflix. “I think this has already happened. If there was a loss [of] material objects of fire and water – and water though – it’s kind of a weird difference,” he added as Lake nodded in agreement. “They’re two separate things.”
“So we’re going to end by revealing that there’s a story where there’s a house fire or something like that.”

There was a house fire, Lake said.
“Apart from that,” he continued. “And this might end up being a little more appropriate. We had a really bad storm and our basement flooded and a bunch of paintings were destroyed and we couldn’t get them back. There’s something about watching water seep into a place where it shouldn’t and harmful things, so keeping both of those things in mind.”
“But the fire already happened?” Lake clarified, saying she lived in Malibu. “The fire already happened,” Henry confirmed, acknowledging the fragility of the area. “But the emphasis here is water for some reason. Fire and water. We have to watch it.”
ua post on InstagramLake credited Henry with his hunch, saying he “made the call,” inviting people to watch the episode.
