Arsenal will reportedly be one of the many of the best clubs on the market for Florian Wirtz when his departure from Bayer Leverkusen eventually occurs.
The Germany international shone for Leverkusen, playing a starring role in their Bundesliga title win last season, and has continued his superb form for them this season with 12 goals and ten assists in all competitions.
Wirtz is still only 21 but he is clearly the real deal and it would be very exciting to see him move to the Premier League for his prime years.

It seems we can expect Arsenal to be among those trying to bring him to English football, along with Manchester Cityaccording to Daily Mailalthough Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also want him.
Florian Wirtz could be Arsenal’s next superstar
Arsenal are currently a little too reliant on Bukaya Saka to provide their team with some magic and spark in attack, but Wirtz would be another real turnaround for the north London club.
With great technique, intelligence and an eye for goal, Wirtz is a truly talented player who is sure to be a big hit with fans at the Emirates Stadium, who have grown accustomed to modern attacking football in recent decades.
Known for entertainers like Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Mesut Ozil, and now for the likes of Saka and Martin Odegaard, Wirtz really seems the ideal fit to carry on that legacy.
However, Leverkusen will certainly be asking for a huge amount of money if they eventually decide to let Wirtz go, so it remains to be seen whether AFC can compete with the rest of Europe’s elite on that front.
The Gunners don’t tend to be the biggest spenders, although we’ve already seen them break the bank for Declan Rice, while the likes of Ozil, Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were expensive buys when they joined.
