Campbell could relaunch his career at Ibrox
It’s been a rocky few years for the central midfielder, who struggled to play on loan at Millwall in 2023-24 before being sent out on loan to League One Charlton this season.
However, the former Luton man earned a cap for Scotland during his time as a regular starter for the Hatters, and given he is still only 26, there is no reason why he cannot return to that level.
Former Luton boss Nathan Jones was full of praise for the Scot after he earned a call-up to the national team, saying: “He had a fantastic season, he got better, he got stronger.
“He had to struggle with what could have been a serious injury early on, but he bounced back from it so quickly and he was just magnificent for us.”
With Campbell available for a bargain fee this month, it is worth the risk for Rangers and Clement will be hoping he can restart his career at Ibrox.
