Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators they decided to keep all eight players, showing their confidence in their established core. Meanwhile, Kings of Karachi, Sultans of Multan and Peshawar Zalmi he retained seven players each, maintaining a balanced mix of proven performers, emerging talent and franchise leaders.

1. Islamabad United

Islamabad, the most successful team in HBL PSL history with three titles, have retained key players who played a key role in their championship campaign last season. Skipper Shadab Khan who was also the player of the tournament, remains the cornerstone of the team’s strategy.

Fast bowler Naseem Shahwho provided exceptional performances during the previous season, has been retained in the Platinum category, ensuring that United’s bowling attack remains formidable. Imad Wasimwho now serves as a mentor, along with Azam Khanthey provide key experience in the middle order. With a solid mix of youth and experience, Islamabad will look to defend their title and continue their dominance.

2. Sultans of Multan

Multan, runners-up last season, retained their captain, Mohammad Rizwanwhose leadership and consistent performances were key. Leg-spinner Usama Mira key wicket-taker in previous seasons, remains in the Platinum category to strengthen his bowling attack. David Willeywho has been a consistent performer in the PSL, continues to provide all-round value. Iftikhar Ahmedan experienced middle-order batsman, alongside him Usman Khanensures that Sultans remain competitive. 3. Peshawar Zalmi

Peshawar, once champions, kept their captain, Babar Azamthe leading scorer in PSL history, who continues to strengthen his batting. Dynamic opener Saim Ayubwho impressed last season, remains a key asset. Mohammad Haristhe young wicketkeeper, ensures stability behind the stumps, while Arif Yaqoob, Mehran Mumtaz and Sufyan Moqim strengthen their bowling attack. 4. Quetta gladiators

Quetta, the 2019 winners, held on Rilee Rossouwleading scorer among overseas players in PSL history, who continues to be their backbone. The mysterious spinner Abrar Ahmedwho emerged as a threat to opposing batsmen, remains in the Diamond category. Mohammad Amirveteran pacer, will lead their bowling attack, doc Saud Shakeel adds depth to the middle order. Akeal Hosein and Mohammad Wasim Jr., two of the best T20 bowlers, remain in gold, ensuring that the Gladiators’ bowling unit remains strong. Skipper Shan Masoodwho was a key figure, remains at Gold along with rising star, Muhammad Irfan Khanwho was recognized for his playing on the field in the last edition. Arafat Minhas and Zahid Mehmood add depth to Silver, while Tim Seifert offers an overseas option behind the stumps. The Kings intend to build on their strengths and fight for their first title since 2020.

Sikandar Razadynamic all-rounder, strengthens their midfield, while Abdullah Shafique and Jahandad Khan add to their gold striking depth. WITH David Wiese providing experience in the Silver, the Qalandars have a well-rounded squad and will look to maintain their momentum and defend their title.
