Patrick Dorgu to Man Utd: Lecce defender in transfer talks with Ruben Amorim’s side | Transfer Center news
Manchester United are in talks to sign Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu.
Dorgu, who has been followed by Tottenham and Chelsea, is believed to be keen on a move to United.
He is one of the many options they considered.
The Denmark international is more affordable than their other top options, such as Nuno Mendes and Milos Kerkez.
Lecce would ask for at least 25.4 to 29.6 million pounds (30-35 million euros) for Dorga The sky in Italy.
As Sky Sports News announced after the appointment of Ruben Amorim, the left-back was circled as a priority position and it was one transfer that was very likely to happen this term regardless of the situation at the club.
Garnacho does not actively want to leave Man Utd
Alejandro Garnacho he didn’t actively ask to leave Manchester United in this window amid strong interest from Napoli, Chelsea and three other clubs.
The 20-year-old’s camp has seen an influx of inquiries following reports that the hierarchy at Old Trafford would be willing to sell him for the right price to help their PSR status, as well as recruiting with funds to rebuild the squad in Amorim’s technical data.
So they’re looking at options with Garnach’s long-term future in mind, should his valuation be met.
Napoli have already had an approach knocked down by United, with the initial figure being discussed just shy of £40m.
The Serie A side are under the impression they would need to add another £20m to tempt United into selling, but they hope a compromise can be reached. In the meantime, they are evaluating cheaper alternative options.
Chelsea have yet to formalize their interest, but value Garnach, and clubs from Spain and Germany are understood to have checked out his representatives.
The Argentina international has no shortage of suitors, but the situation has been described as the opposite of that of Marcus Rashford, where the forward is actively seeking a new challenge away from United, and as such, has not been part of the squad.
