Nitin Menon will become the first umpire to achieve this historic feat in the India vs England T20I series
Indian umpire Nitin Menon is all set to achieve this great feat during the upcoming T20I series between Indian National Cricket Team and England National Cricket Team. He will become the first umpire from India to officiate in 50 T20Is.
Nitin Menon will achieve this feat during the 4th T20I series between Indian National Cricket Team and England National Cricket Team. The match between the teams will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on January 31.
This will surely be one of the big turning points for Nitin Menon. He was one of the best judges the nation has produced. He is also part of the ICC Elite panel of umpires and is one of the best umpires in world cricket.
Nitin Menon is set to become the first Indian umpire to stand in 50 T20Is. Menon will score a fest when he umpires in his 50th T20I in Pune in the 4th T20I between the teams on January 31.. A creditable feat from one of the best umpires in the world and certainly the best in India!

Apart from this, the commentators for the 1st T20I between the two teams have also been announced. Ravi Shastri, Harsha Bhogle, Sunil Gavaskar, Nick Knight and Deep Dasgupta will commentate in English for the match in Kolkata.
While Aakash Chopra, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla and Anant Tyagi will provide commentary in Hindi. Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen will miss the first two games and will join the commentary from the third game.

The T20I series between the two teams will begin on Wednesday (January 22). The series opener will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and with the kind of player that both teams have in the squad, it promises to be an engrossing series between the teams.
Suryakumar Yadav will captain the hosts in the series. Players like Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh are expected to be in the XI for the first game. They would like to win and take an early lead in the series. They have not lost a single series under Suryakumar and he would like to continue his good form as a leader.
England announce playing XI for first T20I
On the other hand, the English national cricket team announced the XI for the first match. Jos Buttler will be the captain of the team, while Harry Brook will be the vice-captain. Ben Duckett and Phil Salt will be the openers. Jofra Archer, Mark Wood and Gus Atkinson will be the pacers.
Harry Brook will bat in the middle order alongside all-rounders Jacob Bethell and Jamie Overton. Adil Rashid is the spinner in the team.
