Pope Francis’ state is still “critical” after having suffered a “long -term respiratory crisis like asthma,” Vatican said earlier on Saturday.
The Pope is “more bad than yesterday” and received blood transfusion, the statement said.
The Vatican said he was awake and in an armchair, but demanded “a high -flow oxygen” and his forecast “remains kept”.
The Pope is treated for double pneumonia at Gemelli Hospital in Rome.
