Nigel Farage hits back after Elon Musk says he ‘doesn’t have what it takes’ to lead UK Reform Party
Business tycoon Elon Musk claimed in a post on X that UK Reform Party leader Nigel Farage “doesn’t have what it takes” and needs to be replaced.
“The reform party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes,” Musk tweeted.
Farage, member Parliament of the United Kingdomhe did not agree.
“Well, this is a surprise! Elon is a remarkable individual, but I’m afraid I disagree. My opinion remains that Tommy Robinson is not right for Reform and I never betray my principles,” he tweeted.
Musk spoke in support of Robinson, who is currently in prison.
But Farage made it clear that he did not want Robinson to join the UK Reform Party.

Farage said Robinson was not jailed “for exposing gangs” but for “contempt of court”.
“I know he’s in jail for contempt of court ffs, but there is NO excuse for such a long prison sentence or solitary confinement!” Musk wrote in a post on X.
Robinson’s real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, reports show.

Musk, who strongly supported the newly elected president Donald Trump during the 2024 US presidential contests, he claimed that “civilization would be lost” if Trump had not won the election.
