Maresca calls Chelsea Boo-Boys to release Robert Sanchez
Enzo Maresca urged Chelsea fans not to overcome goalkeeper Robert Sanchez if he started against West Ham on Monday.
Sanchez was wrong to his last two appearances-he was guilty of Wolves’ goal at Stamford Bridge on January 20th and a key second of Erling Haalanda in a 3-1 defendant in Manchester City last Saturday.
While Maresca admitted that she had not yet decided whether to stick to Sanchez, or instead turn to help in accordance with Philip Jorgensen, he said it was important for fans to support the one who got Kim.
He said, “The only thing I can say is that we need fans. We need them, players need them. Understanding that sometimes, for various reasons, I can’t be satisfied with players or with a manager in general. But surely, we need their support because they They have to trust our direction.
“If I see something I don’t like, I’m the first one who doesn’t accept it. I can be happy in terms of the way they are [the players] Try to work every day, the way they try to accept all the situations we have had this season. I’m sure in the end, we’ll fight for something there. “

Maresca can try to protect Sanchez
Maresca hinted that if Sanchez would be left out, he would be good.
“Yes, sometimes that can happen,” he added. “Not only in Robert’s case. The other day I read about it [Gianluigi] Donnarumma, this season he always played for Paris Saint-Germain, but for some games Luis Enrique left him. Now he plays every game and goes well.
“Sometimes, for sure, it can be a solution, but that doesn’t mean it’s in Robert’s case.”
Potter returnee
On Monday, you can see the return of Graham Potter to Stamford Bridge for the first time since Chelsea released him in April 2023. After only seven months.
The 49-year-old took over West Ham earlier this month, and Maresca was impressed with what he saw.
He said, “They are very aggressive. I watched four or five games with a competent Graham. You can see that they are trying to be very aggressive, even in the last game against the Aston villa.
“It will be a tough game, as always. As for tactical, we still have two days to prepare the game, so we will see.”
