Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell pokes fun at Spurs, claiming ‘big moves pay off’
Sol Campbell has hit Tottenham lightheartedly ahead of tomorrow’s north London derby by reviving memories of his move to Arsenal.
Campbell is still a hated figure among Spurs fans after swapping White Hart Lane for Highbury in 2001.
Having risen through the ranks at Tottenham to captain and arguably one of the world’s best centre-halves, Campbell stunned world football by moving across the capital to join the club’s bitter rivals.
When it comes to big moves, there’s only one man who knows what’s what.

As the advert insinuates, it would prove to be a shrewd move as he won two Premier League medals and two FA Cup winners medals.
In the Google Pixel ad, he takes off his white sweater for a red one and says that “big moves pay off.
He added: “It’s not like you’re doing anything outrageous, you’re just switching to something much, much better.”
The end of the ad suggests he’s been talking about his laundry all along, but football fans know better!
