Man Utd are in direct talks to sign the ‘superstar’ that is Cavani 2.0

Signing players from PSG, or at least whose last club was PSG, has worked well for United in the past. This extends beyond Manuel Ugarte, who is still out of the picture after only signing last summer.

His best season came in his first campaign for the club, 2020/21, where he scored 17 goals and provided five assists. in 39 performances helped United to the Europa League final and second place in the Premier League. It was certainly as good as Kolo Muani’s first season in Frankfurt.

If Kolo Muani can come close to the numbers put up by the former Red Devils number seven, then he will surely earn cult hero status just like Cavani. He will surely be hoping to make a potential move to United just as successful.

In fact, United could have a “future superstar” on their hands. That’s what German legend Lothar Matthaus described him as during his stay in Frankfurt.

If Kolo Muani can rediscover that form, he could end up surpassing Cavani’s legacy at Old Trafford.
