Liverpool are now in direct talks with the agents of the £20m+ “monster in the making”.

Liverpool have now been negotiating a transfer for a new striker, who is attracting the interest of many Premier League clubs, reports Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg.
Darwin Nunez’s future in Liverpool questionable
Darwin Nunez’s time at Anfield looks set to come to an end, with the Reds now eyeing potential replacements for the Uruguayan and Lille striker Jonathan David has been identified as the target for the summer transition period.
Nunez is now attracting interest from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal, and Arne Slottthe party has now rejected the oral offer of approx 70 million poundsand Michael Edwards hopes to hold out for around £75m.
Mohamed Salah has still not committed to a new contract at Anfield, meaning Slott may need to refresh his attacking options this month or in the summer, and Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is also interestingand Nunez would potentially be used in a trade deal.
Sky Sports reporter Plettenberg has now dropped a new update on the player who could potentially be brought in to replace Nunez, stating Liverpool have taken the first steps towards signing striker Stefanos Tzimas. The Reds were on the phone with FC Nürnberg a few days ago about a summer deal, with the 2nd Bundesliga club making his loan from PAOK permanent and then selling him for a profit.
They have also made direct contact with Tzimas’ camp to discuss a move to Anfield, with Plettenberg describing the 19-year-old as “one of the brightest attacking talents in Greece” in light of his impressive form on loan in Germany this season.
Nuremberg are ready to activate the €18m (£15m) buyout option in the youngster’s contract, and if Sloto’s side are to win the race for the starlet’s signature, they are expected to have to shell out €25m (£21m) plus add-ons.

Tzimas shows promising signs in Germany
The Greek U21 international has made a good start to his first season in Germany, rising eight goals and two assists in his first 14 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga. Scout and writer Jacek Kulig was also full of praise for the teenager this season, in light of his record in front of goal for PAOK and Nürnberg.
As such, there are promising signs that Tzimas could be a solid long-term signing for Liverpool, but it is likely that they will need to bring in another top striker alongside the wonderkid.
It would be a risk to let Nunez go without bringing in a proven striker at the top level, so they should be careful Victor Osimhenwho was earlier marked as an ideal replacement for the Uruguayan national team player.
