Kuldeep Yadav issues an official statement after RCB fans flood his social media with abuse
Kuldeep Yadav reacted to the hate he received from Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fans after he brutally raced the franchise for not winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy during a live segment.
However, that was just Spinner’s reaction after an RCB fan tried to troll him. Kuldeep is a diehard fan of FC Barcelona and spoke about his love and passion for the sport during the podcast.
Kuldeep Yadav Witter Jibe on RCB leaves fans
Well, an RCB fan tried to troll Kuldeep during the live stream by suggesting that the Indian spinner has joined the IPL franchise as a goalkeeper. He commented, “Kuldeep Bhai, RCB Me AA Jao, EC goalkeeper Ki Jarurat Hai (Kuldeep Bro, join RCB; we need a goalkeeper).”

That did not go down well with the Chinaman Bowler and showed Bengaluru Royal Challengers fans the best of the jokey side. Kuldeep Yadav gave a savage reply to RCB fans during the live segment, as the left-arm spinner played into RCB’s IPL title drought, saying they need a trophy, not a wicketkeeper.
Giving a witty reply to the fan, Kuldeep said, “Goalkeeper Tumhe Ki Nahi, Trophy Ki Jarurat Hai, Mere Bhai. Goalkeeper Ka Kya Karoge? You don’t need a goalkeeper. You need a trophy. What will you do with a goalkeeper? ” Well, RCB is one of the most loved franchise, and its fans are beyond loyal.

Chill, RCB fans: Kuldeep Yadav reacts to comeback via IPL Trophy Jiba
Kuldeep’s trolling of RCB did not sit well with the fans as the India Spinner hit them where it hurts the most. As soon as the clip of Kuldeep’s Jiba went viral on social media, RCB fans went Spinner Delhi Capitals as they swooped in and trolled Yadav for his comments.
Amidst the turmoil, Kuldeep took to his social media platform X to try to ease the tension and calm the angry RCB fans by saying that the IPL trophy is now theirs. However, the spinner hilariously said that he is not a keeper. He posted on X, “Chill RCB fans … Trophy Aapki Hai. 🏆🙌🏻 PAR ME KUEPER NI HU 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
Chill Yar RCB fans …
apki hai trophy 🏆🙌🏻
Par meek meek ni hu 😂– Kuldeep Yadav (@imkuldeep18) January 24, 2025
Notably, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have not reached the final of the IPL since 2016. The Bengaluru-based franchise reached the final thrice in 2009, 2011 and 2016 but lost the title to the now defunct Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad respectively.
Kuldeep Yadav was set to return to action with the England ODIS
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav last played for India in the home Test series against New Zealand, where he suffered a groin injury that required surgery, and the Chinaman bowler has been sidelined ever since. He recovered at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
However, Kuldeep is now gearing up for his comeback in the upcoming ODI Tri-Meth series against England, starting on February 6. He has also been named in the Indian squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, but before this event, the England ODIs are crucial for him to rediscover his rhythm and prove his mettle once again
