The suspect, which was identified as 32-year-old Lmark Jaramillo, was killed by a police officer out of duty after allegedly trying to stab at least two people at Chick-Filo Restaurant near nearby Boylston Street. Wu said on Monday that it was “unhappy politicizing being in the place of a tragic incident.”

Wu also said that she was grateful “every hour every day at work of our police officers in Boston”.
“In this case, we had a officer out of duty who saw something happening, his training began and took action and he must have saved even more lives,” she added.
Wu answered the question of criticism from Ambassador Nancy Mace, Rs.c., condolences.

“I’m glad the officer is safe and very grateful for the quick response of all our first answers here,” she continued.

“How did Boston vote for this again?” Concha wrote. “I lived in the Back Bay area. That was one of the safest parts of the city. And she is her condolences ????”
