JD Vance on Monday on the first official visit to Virginia as Vice President

EXCLUSIVE – JD Vance “fulfills his promise” to American voters as he goes on his first trip as a vice president to Damascus, Virginia, On Monday, visiting areas affected by Hurricane Helena at the end of September.
It will be Vance’s second trip to Damascus Since the hurricane on September 27, he passed the southeast, destroying parts of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida and leaving more than 200 dead.
“Vice -President Vance visited Damascus residents in October after the city was buried by Hurricane Helena,” spokesman for Fox News Digital told the City. “He promised to return and now fulfill his promise. The first week of this administration made it clear that President Trump and Vice -President Vance hold his word.”
Vance’s trip comes just days after President Donald Trump, Melania Trump and other politicians visited Asheville, Fletcher and Swannano, North Carolina, January 24, marking the second trip of the current president to those areas since September.

Trump spoke in all three cities, but allowed a group of locals who lost everything in Helena to share their personal stories during his stop in Swannanoi. Some locals rebelled because of the way the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) treats the disaster, saying that there are too many bureaucracy for those who need an ambulance to get the help they need, whether it is a placement, money or both.

Trump also promised that his administration would jump in and help North Carolina to quickly repair the damage, promising to “do a good job” for the state.

“We’ll correct it, and what you can faster,” Trump said. “It’s a huge damage. Fema really let us down. She betrayed the country. And I don’t know if it’s Biden’s or whose guilt, but we’ll take over. We’ll do a good job.”
