“It’s Not Right” – Ava Max Talks About Leaked Demos Of Her Unreleased Tracks
Pop star Ava Max has made an impassioned plea to her fans to stop releasing her unreleased demos, citing the emotional toll and disruption caused by such actions. In her Instagram post, Ava Max shared a screenshot of the visualizer for Phenomenona track that features a Middle Eastern inspired groove. Along with a snippet of the song, she explained that while many of her demos were never officially released, the leak was deeply disturbing.
“A lot of records I write never see the light of day and I understand your frustration, but that’s not okay. I write a lot of records that I would like to release,” she added.
Max revealed that she found five leaked tracks that day alone and issued a stern warning to those responsible, saying:
“I will find out who did this…as I usually do. So please stop.”
In the next slide, Max expanded on his concerns, writing:
“I’ve never posted about this since the premature leak of my second album. Please respect my art so I can continue to work on creating the songs I want to release that make sense for my project and who I am perfect for you.”

Speaking about the incident at the time, Max expressed her frustration on TikTok, which has since been deleted, saying:
“I’m extremely upset about it, obviously. My team and I are doing our best to get it down.” She described the emotional impact, saying, “It hurts because you put so much effort into a body of work and then it’s out there.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Max thought about the challenges he was facing leaksexplaining:
“That leak was crazy. I never know how these things happen, but every time they do, it upsets me because I want to be the first to announce it. I just don’t know how people find out about it. It’s definitely painful, for sure. “
Despite these setbacks, Ava Max remained focused on her music. In 2024, she released several singles, including Whateverwhich was sampled by Shakirin whenever, wherever, solo song my oh my and September Spot the fake. She also collaborated with David Guetta on a reimagined version of Alphaville Forever young.
Ava Max teased her third album, describing its direction as a reflection of personal growth and healing. In May 2024, she said Billboard that the project’s debut single, my oh myit signifies a new beginning.
“For the first time, I’m really finding myself, getting better at healing… I really feel like this is everyone’s time of healing,” she said.
