Indonesian stocks rose at the close; IDX Composite Index rose 1.68% Investing.com

Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Jakarta, it rose 1.68%.

The best performers of the session were Era Media Sejahtera Tbk PT (JK: ), which rose 35.00% or 21.00 points to trade at 81.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk PT (JK:) added 31.43% or 22.00 points to end at 92.00 and Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (JK:) was up 24.89% or 590.00 points to 2,960.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk PT (JK: ), which fell 30.43% or 49.00 points to 112.00 at the close. Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK:) fell 25.00% or 56.00 points to end at 168.00 and Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:) lost 24.87% or 143.00 points to 432.00.

Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 344 to 304, with 195 ending unchanged.

Shares of Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk PT (JK:) rose to 52-week highs; by 31.43% or by 22.00 to 92.00. Shares of Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK:) fell to all-time lows; it loses 25.00% or 56.00 to 168.00. Shares of Citra Marga Nusaphal Persada (JK:) rose to 5-year highs; rose 24.89% or 590.00 to 2,960.00.

Crude oil for delivery in March rose 0.60% or 0.46 to $76.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.50% or 0.40 to $80.32 a barrel, while February gold futures rose 0.63% or 16.86 to 2,699 .16 dollars per troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.62% at 16,340.50, while AUD/IDR was up 0.39% at 10,137.21.

US dollar index futures were down 0.11% at 109.00.
