Martin Bakola is now a replacement opponent who will face Joseph Parker on Saturday after the IBF champion Daniel Dubois has drawn himself because of illness today. Highly ranked #2 WBA and #2 WBO Bakola (21-1, 16 ko) quickly found to replace Will Dubois as Parker’s opponent for compassion.

The ring broke the news This Bakole was selected as Parker’s replacement (35-3, 23 KO). There was no fall, but Bakola is now a former WBO champion in a heavyweight category. I can predict the appearance of a terror that will be in Parker’s eyes when Martin chases him around the ring.
I was surprised by Parker agreed to this fight. You have to give him a merit to be willing to take him, but the progress is huge. If Parker is the winner, he will win Boogeyman in the division and will be headed for the world title.
This is an upgrade because Bakola can create strength even on short strokes. He should not be loaded in his shots like Dubois did to hurt his opponents. Bakole reminds me of Sonny Zadon. He has the same ability to gain maximum strength on his shorter hands, identical to how the leaf has fought.
This will be a fascinating spectacle for fans. I just wonder how Parker, 33, will endure Bakole’s pressure on him. The New Zealander, Parker, has resurrected his sinking career with victories back to the older heavy weights Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder. However, this is a much different type of fighter. Bakole, 31, is in its main, fearless and has no problem with endurance. Parker must develop a whole new set of tools to win in this fight.
Bakole comes from the fifth round of the knockout victory over the previously undefeated Jared Anderson on August 3 in Los Angeles. He destroyed Anderson, throwing him three times in the fight before waving. Since then, Bakola has been waiting for the opportunity to fight one of the big names, and now he has it.
