Using a Wi-Fi enabled printer
Many of the most popular printers available today have a Wi-Fi functionand if you have a Wi-Fi enabled printer, you can print photos directly from your phone. Most modern photo printers are completely wireless, allowing you to easily print photos directly from their Android or iOS smartphones. Check out my top picks for printers here. Here’s how to print from a wireless printer on Android and iOS:
For iPhone:
- Make sure your printer supports it AirPrint and is connected to your phone Wi-Fi network.
- Open it Photo applicationchoose photo want to print, tap share iconand select Printing.
- Choose yours writer and adjust all print settings.
- Click Printing in the upper right corner of the screen.
For Android:
WITHthe settings may differ depending on the manufacturer of your Android phone.
- Connect your printer to the same Wi-Fi network like your phone.
- Go to settings > Connected devices > Connection settings > Printing.
- Choose Default print service or a a third-party print service plugin.
- Open it photo want to print in the gallery app, tap share iconand select Printing.
Using a portable photo printer
Portable photo printers are convenient for printing on the go. They usually connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and come with apps for easy printing. Portable photo printers are a great idea if you want a compact photo printer that’s great for taking with you on trips. Using an online photo printing service
You can also use apps or websites like Shutterfly or Snapfish that offer photo printing services. Upload your photos, choose your print options and have them delivered to your home or picked up at your local store. Similar services are also available at your local print shops or even big box stores such as Paper clipswho also provide high quality poster and image printing. Using a print and shop service to process your photos can be a great idea, as you can be sure that your photos are printed on high quality prints with excellent printers.

Transferring photos to your computer
You can upload your photos to your computer and print them from there using your home printer. This is a great option if you have an older printer or an older photo printer that doesn’t support Wi-Fi. Here is the list our printer recommendations. Here’s how to do it from iPhone to computer:
- Use a USB cable to connect the iPhone to the computer.
- Make sure your iPhone or Android unlocked.
- If prompted, tap “Trust this computer” on your iPhone or Android.
- On a Mac, open Photo application.
- On a Windows computer, open Photo application or File Explorer.
- On a Mac, click on “Import” in the Photos app and select the photos you want to upload.
- On a Windows computer, click “Import” in the Photos app or copy and paste photos from File Explorer.
Print photos
- Make sure your printer connected to your computer (via USB or network).
- Open it photographs you want to print on your computer.
- On a Mac, go to “file” > “Print” in the Photos application.
- On a Windows computer, right click on the photo and select “Print” or use possibility of printing in the Photos application.
- Select your printer and configure the print settings (size, quality, etc.).
- Click “Print” to start printing your photos.
