HGTV star Christine Hall’s heated argument with estranged husband Josh caught on camera
Josh and Christine Hall the volatile marriage was seen firsthand during a sneak peek at the upcoming series premiere of “The Flip Off.”
Hall and her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, compete in a real estate flipping contest. Tarek’s new wife, ex “Sunset Sale” star Heather El Moussa, is also on the show.
Christina and her then-husband Josh were filming together when the cameras caught a heated conversation in the car, days before the couple decided to end their marriage, with Josh citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The show was announced in May, and production began soon after. Josh and Christina filed for divorce in July.
“This is a competition. We must take all steps. Whatever it takes to win, I will do it. Halls rule!” Josh said to Christina while driving. “You should say it with me, or say it again, or something that shows you’re with me.”
“Remember, you’re Hall now. Don’t get confused by your last name in this competition. You’re rude.”
He continued, “Remember, you’re Hall now. Don’t let your last name confuse you in this contest. You’re rude.”

“Yeah, s— you say and I just say, ‘I wish you’d shut up already,'” Josh said.
Christina sighed, to which Josh replied, “My wife is already pissing me off.”
The HGTV star ended a hostile conversation with her then-husband by asking, “Are we there yet?”
The footage is included in the two-hour premiere of the series, which will be broadcast on January 29. The incidents seen on camera were recorded before Josh filed for divorce from Christina in July 2024.
In the comments section of the video, which was shared on Christina and HGTV’s official Instagram accounts, Heather weighed in on Josh’s exit from the show.
“Not everyone does the part – and that’s a real reality,” she commented.
In November, Christina said Party tonight that Josh had problems with her relationship with her first husband.
“[Josh] he doesn’t like our dynamic, because Tarek and I have our own dynamic, and some might call it ‘flirting,'” she said. “To me, it’s like a brother and sister.”
Christina and Tarek remained cordial after their explosive divorce in 2016 and continued filming “Flip Or Flop” together until the series ends in 2022. The former couple share children Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9.
Christina told the outlet that she did “it’s not fun” shooting with Josh.
“When someone’s insecure about you and doesn’t like watching you win, it really dampens everything, I feel like I haven’t shined as bright, I don’t feel like I’ve been picked on. But who wants to live like that?”
While Christina and Josh’s explosive feud was seemingly over in the preview clip for “The Flip Off,” there was another emotional moment captured in the teaser clip.
In the scene, Christina tells Tarek that her relationship with Josh is over.

“We had a blast … middle fingers in my face,” Christina said, adding, “Things with Josh have been bad for a long time.”
Christina told her ex-husband that their children played a role in her ending her marriage to Josh.
“The kids literally asked me to leave,” she said. “They told me he wasn’t good to me. Why should I stay?”
Christina’s second husband, Ant Anstead, joined “The Flip Off” after Josh’s exit. A source confirmed to Fox News Digital in November that Anstead is “filming part of the series” with Christina.
In August, Christina considered replacing Josh with Anstead as a co-star in “The Flip Off.”
In the comments section of an Post on Instagram shared Christina, a fan suggested her other ex-husband Anstead replace Josh on the show.

“How great would it be if Ant replaced Josh on The Flip Off? The ratings would go up. If that happens I need some credit. Lol,” one social media user wrote, according to People.
“LOL that would be a genius idea about ‘grades,'” Christina replied.

In December 2018, Christina married Anstead at their home in Newport Beach, California, and they welcomed a son, Hudson, in 2019. However, the two announced their separation in September 2020, and Christina filed for divorce two months later.
