Ex-Chelsea manager returns to football with PFA role
Graham Potter may be the favorite to take over at Premier League side West Ham, but the former Chelsea and Brighton manager has a new role in football.
Potter, 49, has been sidelined since leaving his role at Stamford Bridge in April 2023.
He has allegedly asked to replace Julen Lopetegui at the Hammers, but announced a new, different role on Tuesday morning.
We are delighted to announce that Graham Potter has joined @PFA Business School as co-leader of the Certificate Course in Football Psychology, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership. 🤝

Potter became co-leader of the Football Psychology Certificate course run by the Professional Footballers’ Association.
The course helps students develop leadership skills and is a specialized course for coaches and managers.
“Education has helped me become a better person and a better player,” Potter said.
“It’s very exciting that the PFA is doing this and providing opportunities for improvement, I’m happy to support it. It is an investment in the present and the future. The degree was the foundation for my career in management.”
Potter made his name as coach of Sweden’s Ostersund before playing for Swansea, Brighton and Chelsea.
