Chelsea is planning a big double transfer with Bayern Munich

Chelsea did move bring Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel to Stamford Bridge, while disgruntled Blues forward Christopher Nkunku could be on his way to Bavaria, according to various reports.

Tel has developed a reputation as one of the most exciting young strikers in Europe despite being afforded precious few minutes Bayern. Last season, the teenager managed to score double-digit goals in all competitions, while starting only ten times.

Christopher Nkunku has been in the shadows for Chelsea this season. Eight years older than his compatriot, the former Bundesliga top scorer’s involvement this term has been largely limited to cup competitions, leading to extensive rumours about the delay.

Barcelona has been washed away as a potential destination, but it is believed that Bayern Munich is interested in the former RB Leipzig forward, po Fabrizio Romano.

The Athletic they confirmed that information and added that Chelsea inquired about a transfer to Tel. These potential jobs are not framed as replacements, as The Times they strive to stand out and have the prospect of success or failure on their own merits, regardless of others.

Chelsea they have not yet made Nkunku available for transfer and Maresca publicly insists: “We want to keep him here because we are happy with him.”

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund took a similar stance with Tela. “Mathys Tel is a very important player for us,” said Freund Sky Sports Germany this week.

“We are in very good contact because he is a great talent and should play an important role for us. We have had many conversations. Our clear goal is for Mathys to make his breakthrough with us. We are very satisfied with our team, quality and quantity.

“Of course, if a player is unhappy, we can talk about it. Our clear plan with Mathys is for him to make his breakthrough here.”
