dr. Phil joins Border Patrol agent Tom Homan as they arrest illegal immigrants in Chicago
dr. Phil incorporated in USA Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) team in Chicago as they conducted deportation operations under the new Trump administration.
Phil McGraw, known as “Dr. Phil,” joined border kingpin Tom Homan and a team of agents Sunday as they took various illegal immigrants into custody. It comes after Homan declared that Chicago will be “ground zero” for immigration enforcement under President Donald Trump’s mass deportation plans.
As part of his show on TV, dr. Phil filmed various arrests – at one point interviewing a convicted sex offender and online predator from Thailand who was illegally residing in the Windy City.
“You are accused of sexual crimes with children?” He asked dr. Phil.

“Not really,” the man replied.
“Not really!?” – exclaimed Dr. Phil.
The man claimed that he had never been deported and that his mother was a US citizen. He also recognized dr. Phil from his television appearances, often avoiding the famous psychologist’s questions.
Homan said Dr. Phil – that the man was an example of a failure City sanctuary policies.
“We got an illegal alien, convicted of sex crimes involving children. He’s walking the streets of Chicago,” Homan said. “Again, the decline, the sanctuary city issues — people like this walking the streets, not local police departments working with federal agents. That’s what we’re dealing with.”
Trump has criticized sanctuary cities, including Chicago, for resisting federal immigration policies. “We’re trying to get rid of them (sanctuary cities). We’re trying to end them. And a lot of people in those communities don’t want them,” Trump said. Fox’s Sean Hannity last wednesday.

dr. Phil revealed on the show that he had to go through extensive security protocols as part of the “high-risk mission”.
“This is truly a targeted mission by ICE because they’re not going through neighborhoods like people are trying to imply,” he said. “I know it is because I was involved in it. They identified 270 high value targets, and what I mean by that is known criminals and terrorists.”
ICE arrested over 460 individuals in the early days of the immigration crackdown, targeting undocumented immigrants with criminal records. Offenses included sexual crimes, domestic violence and weapons crimes.
During the conversation in the command center based in Chicago, dr. Phil asked if agents went to schools to arrest children who are in the US illegally.

“Is something similar happening?” he asked.
“No, sir,” said Homan.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson obliged protection of the city’s migrant population From federal immigration crackdowns, pledging to support sanctuary city policies.
“I think it’s unconscionable that this administration would try to create not only division, but fear in our public schools,” Johnson said, referring to potential federal raids. He directed city departments to “stand firm and support local ordinances” in accordance with the Illinois Trust Act, which prohibits local law enforcement from assisting federal immigration enforcement efforts.
