“It feels good,” Cunningham said The Athletic. “We’re still hungry though, man. We are not satisfied.”

The former No. 1 overall pick was one of the best guards in the NBA this year, and in the interview he signed up as an All-Star. On the season, Cunningham is averaging 24 points, 6.6 rebounds and 9.3 assists.

NBA fans were buzzing on social media following this matchup, and Kendrick Perkins even got into the fray. The former Boston Celtics great said on X (formerly Twitter) that Cunningham should be an All-Star.

Cunningham has plenty of guards to compete with in the Eastern Conference for an All-Star spot. However, given his past results, he has a chance to either break through or be one of this year’s biggest thieves.
