Billy Ray Cyrus’ son writes open letter expressing concern after singer Trump’s inauguration performance

Trace Cyrus shared concerns about father Billy Ray Cyrus after the country music star’s performance at President Donald Trump‘s Liberty Ball.

Trace shared a photo of the two as he begged Billy Ray to let his kids back into his life.

“From my earliest memories I can only remember being obsessed with you and thinking you were the best person ever,” the Metro Station singer began. “I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life. Unfortunately, the man I so desperately wanted to be is just as I barely recognize him now. It seems this world has defeated you and it’s become obvious to all except you.”

“You might be mad at me for posting this, but I really don’t care at this point. Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years, but you pushed us all away. Noah was desperate for you to be a part of her life, and you even you weren’t there for her. She kind of idolizes you.”

“I don’t know exactly what you’re struggling with, but I think I have a pretty good idea, and I’d love to help you if you’d open up and get help. You know how to reach me. Until that day comes, I’ll continue to pray for you.”
