Barcelona have scored seven while both Milan clubs are winning

Away from the chaos of Sunday’s non-stop action in England, Europe’s top league provided a few feasts of its own.

After Real Madrid’s win on Saturday, Barcelona looked to keep pace with the La Liga leaders against Valencia.

Otherwise, both Milanese clubs were in action.

AC Milan faced Parma at the San Siro, while Inter traveled to Lecce.

Read on to see how the matches played out throughout the day.

Barcelona 7-1 Valencia

Barcelona thrashed Valencia 7-1 in a spectacular La Liga encounter. The home team raced into the lead after just 145 seconds, with Frenkie de Jong slotting home a nice cross from Lamina Yamal. Ferran Torres doubled the lead moments later, converting Alex Balde’s cross with a superb finish.

Barcelona’s relentless pressure saw Raphinha round the keeper to make it 3-0, before Fermin Lopez added a stunning fourth with a header into the top corner. The rout of the first half was completed just before the break when Fermin pounced on a rebound and another to leave Valencia reeling and trailing 5-0 at the interval.

Valencia briefly rallied in the second half as Hugo Duro pulled one back with a sharp finish from Assisty Diego Lopez. However, Barcelona quickly extinguished any hope of a comeback. Substitute Robert Lewandowski slotted home to make it six, before Cesar Tarrega’s own goal sealed an emphatic win.

AC Milan 3-2 Parma

AC Milan secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Parma in a dramatic Serie A clash at the San Siro.

The visitors took an early lead in the 24th minute when Matteo Cancellieri curled a stunning effort into the bottom corner after Theo Hernandez capitalized on a defensive slip. Milan thought they had equalized minutes later through Alvaro Morata, but the goal was ruled out for offside.

Parity was restored in the 37th minute after Strahinja Pavlović fouled Parma’s keeper, Chijioke Suzuki, in the box. Christian Pulisic converted the resulting penalty with a confident shot into the bottom corner.

The second half remained tense until the 80th minute, when Enrico del Prato capitalized on a rebound to put Parma ahead. However, Milan’s persistence paid off in stoppage time. Tijjani Reijnders latched on to a precise pass from Yunus Musah to fire home the equalizer in the 92nd minute.

Just minutes later, Samuel Chukwueze sealed the comeback by connecting Pavlovic’s header past Suzuki to clinch the win. The win lifts Milan to seventh place, while Parma falls to 16th place.

LECCE 0-4 IN IN MILAN

Inter Milan put in a commanding performance to secure a 4-0 win over Lecce, closing the gap on Serie A Napoli.

Davide Frattesi opened the scoring in the sixth minute, slotting home after a dazzling solo run and assisted by Marcus Thuram. The Nerazzurri dominated the early proceedings, although two further goals were ruled out for offside. Lautaro Martinez doubled the lead in the 39th minute with a stunning shot into the top corner.

Lecce showed promise early in the second half, but it was undone in the 57th minute when Denzel Dumfries slotted home the third from a tight angle after Martinez’s assist. Substitute Mehdi Taremi made an immediate impact, converting a penalty just four minutes later after Frattesi was fouled by goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone.
