Josh Allen breaks down after losing to Chiefs again in playoffs: ‘To be the Champs, you have to beat the Champs’

“It’s just not fun,” he said after letting out a sigh. “But to be champions you have to beat the Champs and we didn’t do that tonight.”
Allen is now 0-4 against the Chiefs in the postseason, so a regular-season win over Kansas City in accounts’ In the end, Highmark Stadium doesn’t matter to this team or its comeback.

“They got a good look,” Allen said when asked what he saw before that fourth down. “I didn’t see anything in my first cadence. They were sliding left, the corner came … yes.”
There wasn’t much Allen could say just minutes after falling again in the Bills’ first trip to the Super Bowl since 1993. However, Mahomes was classic after the game, giving kudos to Allen during his speech as he raised the AFC title trophy.

“So much respect for Josh, man,” he told CBS Sports’ Jim Nantz. “He’s a real competitor, a real warrior, a great football player. It always comes down to the wire. Luckily, we were on the winning side this time. I’m excited to go down to New Orleans. Let’s make history.”
The Bills wanted to see one more game in hopes of giving the franchise its first Super Bowl—they infamously lost four straight from 1990-93—but they’ll have to go back to the drawing board with the offseason starting to see if they see will I be able to change that in 2025.
Allen could get huge personal recognition, as he is an MVP finalist and is expected to lead the way along with Baltimore Ravens running back Lamar Jackson for their work during the 2024 campaign.

However, Allen will say that he is not concerned about individual achievements at the moment. His accounts lost, again at the hands of the Chiefs, and will have a few months to get over it before the new season begins.
“You can either do it, or you can’t. We didn’t do it,” Allen said.
