Arsenal want to sign a £50m PL star who is like Isak
We’re almost halfway through the transfer window, and despite things going badly on the pitch this month, Arsenal they have yet to sign.
Mikel Arteta the team drew against Brighton & Hove Albion and lost to Newcastle United and Manchester United, not because of their defense but because of an increasingly sharp attack, so it is not so surprising to see fans clamoring for the club to sign either a new striker or a winger.
The player who is perhaps the most sought-after option this month was scoring for free Alexander Isakbut with reports claiming it will it costs at least £150 million in the summer, signing him this month seems like a complete fantasy.

Fortunately, the Gunners have been linked with another Premier League star in recent reports, who is not only more attainable but has also drawn comparisons to the sensational Swede this season.
Arsenal are chasing an exciting Premier League star
The news surprisingly broke out on Tuesday morning that, according to Sami Mokbel from the Daily MailArsenal are ‘ready to sign’ Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi in the summer transfer window.
That said, he is not the only player who could arrive in the summer, with the Gunners eyeing one of the most in-form players in the English top flight.
Indeed, according to the recent ones report by journalist Charles WattsArsenal are one of several sides interested in the Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.
In fact, in his daily report, Watts claims that the Gunners are ‘one of the top few clubs keeping an eye’ on the talented striker this month, but that the Bees would be incredibly willing to sell the Cameroon international midway through the campaign. . Instead, a move could happen alongside Zubimendi in the summer months.
The potential price was not mentioned in the report, but according to a story from earlier this month, an offer in the region of £50m might be enough, which would not be out of reach for the residents of North London.
He could still be a complicated transfer to get over the line, but given Mbeum’s immense ability, he’s worth fighting for, especially as he’s won comparisons to the incredible Isak this year.
How does Mbeumo compare to Isaac
Before we look at Mbeum’s impressive form for Brentford and some other reasons why Arsenal should spend money on him this month, let’s examine this comparison with the sensational Isak and where he comes from.
It primarily derived from FBrefwho compares players in similar positions in the Premier League this season, then creates a list of the ten most comparable players for each, and in this case concluded that the Swede is the ninth most similar striker to the Cameroonian.
It’s true that the Brentford star plays most of his games on the wing, but he’s also made plenty of appearances in the middle in recent years – six times this season and nine last year – in order to have enough data to compare him to the league’s other outstanding forwards, data that led to the above conclusion.

However, while the comparison with the Toon’s world-class striker is undoubtedly encouraging, it is not the only reason why the Gunners should sign the former Troyes ace this month.
Instead, the most significant reason for bringing the 25-year-old to the Emirates is his incredible effectiveness in attacking scenarios.
For example, in only 27 appearances last season, the “unstoppable” dynamo, as dubbed by Alan Shearerscored nine goals and six assistsmeaning he maintained an average goal share every 1.8 games.
Impressively, he is doing even better this year and has already racked up a catch 13 goals and four assists in just 24 appearances, which equates to a sensational average of a goal share every 1.41 games.
Ultimately, Arsenal are in desperate need of some attacking reinforcements this month, and while a superstar like Isak is elusive, Mbeumo is not, and based on his form this year, he would be a brilliant addition to Arteta’s squad.
