First on the fox: Domestic Republicans introduce a new package of legislation on the safety of elections this week, and GOP MPs are already setting their eyes 2026.
Republican Study Committee Chairman August Pfluger, R-Texas, presented the law proposals this week, and four legislators sponsor the entire package and various other members who support certain pieces.
Three works of the Law are a proposal for the prohibition laws not citized in Washington, DC, voting in local elections, a proposal for the Noncitizen Blocking Act to help in the management of elections and the constitutional amendment to prevent the non -vote.

It is currently unlawful for the noncititizens to vote in the federal election. Although the law does not apply to state and local elections, there is currently no state in the United States that allows noncititizans to vote in the national election.
Some areas, however, allow the noncititizans to vote in a local level-level election by boosting Washington, DC
“The free and honest elections are the cornerstone of our democracy, which is why the protection against the Necythise influence is crucial for the sovereignty of our country and will ensure that America has a flowering democracy for decades to come,” Pfluger told Fox News Digital.
“These accounts are three steps that we can take to ensure that they do not -do not affect our choices by voting in them or managing them. We need to protect the integrity of our electoral system, and these accounts will only do that.”

At the beginning of this year, Republicans House went through The Law on the Protection of the US Voter (Sava)which requires proof of citizenship in the voter registration process.
Most Democrats shouted the efforts under the leadership of the GOP to break the vote of Noncitizen, and progressive legislators accused the Republicans of trying to spread doubts about the Earth’s electoral processes, targeting something that is already illegal in most cases.
Democrats also criticized the Republicans for pushing laws such as the Salvation Act just weeks before the November elections.

Border security and immigration reform is expected to be a significant part of this upcoming legislation.
