Kim’s story:
“When I started Summer Shape Up I wasn’t in a good place because I stopped working out and wasn’t eating healthy. I’ve done a lot of LSF challenges in the past but I stopped working out for a while and wasn’t feeling my best mentally or physically.”
“When I saw that Summer Shape up was starting, I decided that I would start over and make a new healthy routine with exercise and healthy eating. The first week of SSU was the hardest because I had to make a new routine, but once I got in the first week it became is easier thanks to Move application, A hot meal plan for the bodyand the amazing LSF community that helps keep me motivated. Now I exercise every morning and it has made a huge difference in my mental health. I struggle with anxiety and exercise helps a lot.”
“I’ve come so far and I’m making healthier choices every day. I’m making progress every week, that’s all that matters to me. I’ve lost 7 pounds in this challenge, but I also have a victory without a scale because clothes that were once tight barely fit me. My biggest victory is the fact that I feel better not only physically, but also mentally Teamlsf because I know they help me during and after the challenges.”

“I still struggle with maintaining a healthy lifestyle when my home routine is disrupted. She really opened my eyes this year. I weighed myself in June after our travels and I have never been this high on the scale. I was generally tired and sluggish.”
“The past 6 weeks have helped me realize that I can do a lot more than I think I’m capable of. I’m sad that the challenge is over, but I still plan to log in and do the exercises on the app. Support from Team LSF and the community is unlike anything I’ve ever gotten from a gym, exercise class, or online platform. I am so proud of all the girls in the challenge. These girls inspired me every day to show up for myself. I love that we’re like a little online family.”

at Jessie’s Story:
“This was my first time doing any love fitness exercise/challenge. I joined MOVE app a week before the challenge and was blown away by how hard but fun the workouts were. I also bought hot body diet plan and 14 day [shape up] long ago, like many years ago, and I never followed them. But I decided to make them this time and was blown away by how easy it was to follow the meal plan. I love how you offer simple carb and fat substitutions and how realistic the meal plan is. I can still make meals with my husband at night, but I’m also sticking to my goals.”
“I joined gang goals about halfway through the challenge and I feel like it really catapulted me into the community a bit more. The girls there are very motivating. It’s also really refreshing to see you, Katieinteracting with us and providing Lil goodies along the way. I love motivation and going deeper than just exercise and a meal plan. I think that’s what sets your program apart from all the other fitness programs I’ve been a part of over the years.”
“I just feel like for the first time in the two years since I had my son, I’ve found a way to find time for myself, to get my body back, to get my mental clarity back, and to actually have fun taking care of myself again. Honestly, I didn’t know if I would ever lose the baby weight and the postpartum weight I gained after three years of not taking care of myself, but once I started exercising and following the diet plan, the weight I started losing effortlessly. The meal plan is what makes the difference for me – the meals make sense from a nutritional point of view but are also so satisfying and I’ve never felt deprived of a new lifestyle, as silly as that sounds, and I know that by taking care of myself and feeling good I’m pouring that energy into my family a better wife and I just feel motivated in all areas of my life now.”

Our Pink Heart award goes to a member of the #teamLSF community who not only stayed dedicated to her own fitness journey, but also extremely encouraged her fellow #teamlsf girls! For each challenge, we ask members to send people who motivated them and were a source of positivity and encouragement throughout the challenge.

“Not only do I struggle with anxiety due to exhaustion and the long distance, I’m also physically a single mother. Without help team lsfmaybe I stopped exercising.”
“Even though I didn’t lose a lot of weight in this challenge, I gained strength, muscle and the ability to eat well and exercise through tough challenges. I lost about 3 kilos. I learned to eat properly without restricting the foods I like to eat and without giving up my sweet tooth I learned to patience is key and not comparing myself to anyone I think might look better than me or comparing myself to my old body.”
“This challenge has taught me that it’s okay to change things when things get tough, but to always remember “why” I’m doing this so I don’t give up and fall out of the routine. I wouldn’t say I lost the love arms I wanted, but I got muscles in my glutes and toned my arms…which was one of my other goals I’ve had for 2+ years.”
“I used LSF 14 days of shaping and HBMP while I was doing this challenge. I even took my meal plans with me on my vacation up north. I wanted to stick to a meal plan that would satisfy my hunger and still keep my goals in line with my goals. During this challenge I discovered my love for wings of a woman and now I can’t stop drinking it every day. Not only has it helped my immune system, but it’s my favorite morning drink and I can’t get through the day without it.”

We received SO many amazing entries for this challenge that it was nearly impossible to just highlight our grand prize winner, runner-up, and pink heart recipient. We wanted to give a shout out to these amazing members who also had crazy transformations and heartwarming stories!
