Guardian Metal Discovers High-Grade Tungsten In Nevada By Investing.com

NEVADA – Guardian Metal Resources plc (LON:GMET, OTCQX:GMTLF), a mineral exploration and development company, has announced significant tungsten assay results from its Pilot Mountain project in Nevada. The latest assay results from the ongoing drilling campaign have revealed very high tungsten grades, including the two highest tungsten assays from the project to date.

The last series of wells, PM24-018 to PM24-028, has been completed, with 39 wells to date. The company is preparing to restart drilling on January 6, 2025, with the rig ready for the 40th well. In addition, Guardian Metal is working on a permit to facilitate the development of up to 20 drill pads in the project’s ‘Granet’ zone, which contains tungsten, silver and zinc.

The most significant tungsten intercepts include 3.04% WO3 from well PM24-022 and 3.01% WO3 from well PM24-023. These results contribute to the company’s progress towards an updated resource estimate, which will inform an updated mine plan and pre-feasibility study for Pilot Mountain.

Guardian Metal CEO Oliver Friesen expressed optimism about the project’s potential and the company’s strategic positioning to benefit from the expected resurgence of critical metals mining in the US.

The company also acknowledged an earlier error in assay results published on November 26, 2024, where some WO3 assay results for three wells were overstated. The corrected results are highlighted in the attached tables.
