Details of a pair of cargo discovered by a crew member saying that the vessel ran into a tanker “from heaven”

The man said that Solong did not stop immediately after entering the stench and that it felt like he was still driving to the ship for about 10 minutes after the initial blow. The man said that other members of the Stena crew, who obviously carried jet fuel for the US army, described how it seemed like no one was on the Solong Bridge at the moment of the collision.

A flame broke out of Stena and the crew immediately jumped into action, the man said. He said they put on protective equipment and tried to fight the fire, but quickly found that it would not be possible and decided to leave the ship.

The crew members went to their rooms to collect the basic things, also grabbed rescue vests and emergency equipment. Then they went to collecting and sounded. When everyone was counting, they entered the rescue boat and reunited. When it was checked that everyone was on the rescue ship, they started. The captain was the last person to leave the stench, he said.

The man described the flame that fell asleep on the crew as they boarded the rescue boat and said that some sailors even sang their hair because the fire was so close. He said they couldn’t wait anymore to get off the vessel, and the whole incident from impact to evacuation lasted about 30 minutes.

The man said that the crew was trained for such disasters and that everything was, from the moment of hitting the evacuation, a “textbook” and conducted in accordance with the procedure.

The US official confirmed on Monday a national defense correspondent CBS News Charlie D’Agata that Stena had carried a burden to support the US Ministry of Defense, but said the incident would not affect US military operations or combat readiness.
