The military mayor did not elaborate on how long the troops would be stationed in juba or if Uganda was asked to help Kiir.
Sporadic struggles have erupted in South Sudan in recent days, as tension threatens to bring Kiir and Machar back to the conflict. The couple signed a peace agreement To end the five -year civil war in 2018.

The entry of the Uganda troops mirrors a similar move after the Civil War broke out in 2013 when Campal deployed soldiers in Juba to strengthen Kiir’s forces.
While the troops were withdrawn in 2015, they were re -arranged in 2016 after the fighting had taken over.
The tension of the building in southern Sudan carries the fear of Uganda so that the war could completely send refugees across the border and create further regional instability.
Campal has sent troops across the Eastern border in recent months to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where there are rebel groups supporting Rwanda Struggling with the government over the control of the Eastern regions.
