The woman is safe after she closely avoided the alleged abduction when she warned a passerby at the Uta gas station that she was in trouble.
Sheriff of the Iron County Office Fox 13 Utah confirmed that the epigmenio Bustillos Marquez, 53, was arrested on Saturday after allegedly trying to abduct his wife, only that his attempt was stopped by a victim who transferred the note to the southern Utah gas station in Utah.
Shortly before 1:30 pm, March 8, MPs were shipped to the Cedar Band Travel Plaza, about seven miles southwest of the town of Cedar, for the abduction reports.

According to the court documents received by the socket, the witness told the investigators that the woman had given her a handwritten note that advised her to be in trouble and needed help.
The report states that the witness watched the victim enter the white Chevrolet Equinox with the Nevada Registration Tables before following the vehicle while arrived at Interstate 15 and began traveling north.
The MPs then conducted a traffic stop after catching the vehicle and reporting a female victim, which was not identified, not behaving normally when they talked to her and asked her to get out of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Marquez, provided the identification from Durang in Mexico with a false name and date of birth.

Investigators searched Marquez’s wallet and found another Mexican ID card with their actual name and date of birth. However, even after his identification was shown, Marquez continued to deny that this was his real identity, the socket reported.
The victim told the officials that she and Marquez had been in a relationship for 25 years. However, she mentioned that she noticed the recent change of Marquez’s behavior and that he was cheeky, the report said.
The victim then told the police that she asked Marquez to take her to work that morning, but when he picked her up, he began to accuse her of cheating on the relationship.
She added that instead of taking the victim to work, Marquez allegedly threatened to take her to Salt Lake City or Denver.
